*大马佛总将发僧伽身份证通告*

为了遏制假和尚藉用佛名行骗， 以及非正信假佛门弟子之出现， 大马佛总将于近期内发出正信僧伽身份证， 以证明真正出家众之身份。
此种身份证已在内政部及警方等部门备案，此证书之持有人，必须严守出家戒律。凡有违反戒律者，经僧伽长老团定夺后， 将被取消其资格， 并在传媒上公布周知。
凡有意申请此身份证者， 可致函予佛总索取表格， 并附上戒谍与身份证影印本。  表格必须志明法名、剃度法号、受戒日期、地址、身份证号码、会员号码以及寺院庵堂名称。同时，夹上两张身份证半身照片，交大马佛总长老团定后发给。

Issuance of Identity Card for Monks and Nuns by M.B.A.
Please be informed that in order to avoid the faker monks and nuns cheating the public, the M.B.A. will issue the identity card soon for all the monks and nuns to identify their real position.
This type of identity card will be submitted to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Police Departments for filing and recording. The holder of this identity card must strictly observe the precepts. Anyone found against the precepts, his or her monkhood or nunhood will be disqualified, after the final decision to be made by senior monk panel and his or her name will be notify in the public media.
Those who wish to apply for this identity card, can obtain the application forms from the M.B.A.
Please submit the application together with your full personal particulars, a photocopy of NRIC, two copies of IIC size photographs and other relevant documents directly to M.B.A. for censoring by the senior monk panel before issuing the identity card.
