21st National Convention of Malaysian Buddhist Association

The 21st National Convention of Malaysian Buddhist Association will be held on July 8-10, 2022, at Malaysian Buddhist Association Building. Besides, the Buddhist Archives Research Center is launched in conjunction with the auspicious National Convention. YAB Tuan Chow Kon Yeow, Chief Minister of Penang, will officiate the opening ceremony and the Buddhist Archives Research Center launch on July 9 at 10 am. The representatives of Malaysian Buddhist Association from the states and national council, government officials, guests, members and observers estimated around 250 people would attend the opening ceremony. The closing ceremony will be held on July 10, starting at 11:30 am, officiated by YB Chong Eng, chairman of Committee for Social Development & Non-Islamic Religious Affairs. The opening and closing ceremonies of the National Convention will be broadcast live on the Facebook page and YouTube channels of Malaysian Buddhist Association.
